Hi Joan, I think Joe has lost this team and two wins is going to be tough. I had a flash back of Woody Hayes when Joe was shaking one of the linebackers. And as mentioned in an earlier post, one of the OLs gave Joe a look that was as disdainful as you can get. This can only turn around when Bowden passes both Joe and the Bear. We know Joe can not keep up with Bowden so the pressure and the jinx will be off. The season is lost so what they need to do now is go out and have some fun and try some new things. They will be 0-11 with the current strategy. Joe will quit when he decides he can no longer take it. The school will not take action and frankly, on a long term basis, we would all feel bad if they did. But we need a change. Recruiting stinks, senioritis insures we lose a lot of the five star recruits, and our game plan and plays are from a different era and no longer work. For someone who has done so much for our school and college football in general it just doesn't seem fair but it is a simple fact in any profession that you either have to adapt to change or find a graceful exit strategy. Joe has neither at this point.
