That was indeed part of "the party line" just before the markets opened on 9/18. I saw at least two clowns on CNBC and CNN practically shouting, "if you have a CD maturing, look at the interest rate you're gonna get if you roll it over! Three percent! Buy stocks with it instead, do your patriotic duty!" Disgusting.
