<font color=red>The Indexes - Monday, October 1st

Index Period - Weekend | After Monday

Dow Weekly - Sell | Sell

Dow Daily - Sell | Sell

Nasdaq Weekly - Sell | Sell

Nasdaq Daily - Sell | Sell

TSE Weekly - Sell | Sell

TSE Daily - Sell | Sell

Gold Bugs Weekly - Buy | Buy

Gold Bugs Daily - Buy | Buy

Oil & Gas Weekly - Buy | Buy

Oil & Gas Daily - Hold | Hold

These are very weak (thin) signals on the Oil & Gas Indexes.

On the Dow and Nasdaq Daily, the MA is falling quickly.
This may generate a hold or even a buy signal, fairly soon.

Will those signals be reliable, in light of Sept 11th distortion in the trends?
I don't know.

Needless to say, with the Fed tomorrow, there are more perilous days ahead, though using these closing price charts does smooth things out somewhat.

Like today, 11 points on the Dow. Not much volatility, right? <ggg>

The annotated, updating charts are available at

stockcharts.com

under Indexes Daily & Weekly - Ray Cushing.

If you find them useful, please give the list a vote while you're there.

Thanks.
