andre, i'm learning linux. as it catches on in the future (albeith, at a SLOW rate), the power of machines is even less important b/c it doesn't approach ms' bloatware. anyway, pcs are "good enough" right now. another reason why rmbs was doa. who wants to pay 20% more for what amounts to negligable performance improvements? not many folks. i think the power apps have already been developed. speech recognition probably won't be too big a market - typing is more quiet and less obtrusive to neighbors. mainstream pcs are commodities now. niche products can and will exist - as niche products.
