Robert Murach, 45, Senior VP, Cantor Fitzgerald

New York, Oct. 1 (Bloomberg) - Robert Murach, 45, senior vice
president, Cantor Fitzgerald LP.

Murach was devoted to his two daughters, 9- and 6-year-olds.

``He was totally involved, from the time they were babies''
Murach's wife Laurie told the Newark Star-Ledger. ``He changed
diapers, took them to dance classes, fed them. He'd play his CDs
on the weekends and stand in the middle of the room making up
dances with them.''

Murach also was a guy's guy. Two days before the disaster, he
was barbecuing with friends in a parking lot party at the
Meadowlands in Secaucus, New Jersey, before the New York Jets
game. And two years ago, he took a rafting trip in Utah with a
group of old Brooklyn high school buddies to mark the 25th
anniversary of their track team's winning of the city champioship.

Murach loved golf and scuba diving, and enjoyed spending time
each summer with his family in Sun Valley, Idaho, his wife's
hometown, the Star-Ledger said.

He grew up in Brooklyn, and he and his family lived in
Montclair, New Jersey.

In addition to his wife and children, Murach is survived by
his parents, of the Bay Ridge neighborhood of Brooklyn;
a brother and sister; and a grandmother in Indiana.
