French Quebec is doomed in the long run and French Quebecers know it (even if they deny it).

That's the reason for such an intolerant law such as 101! It is evidence of the desperation of French Quebecers to save their culture. However, 101 is a draconian piece of legislation, which is essentially anti-democratic.

Desperate people pass desperate laws! The zenophobic PQ party has brainwashed a whole generation of French Quebecers that English is a dirty word! Rather than blame themselves for being attracted to English they must blame an outside influence. It is essentially a battle amongst themselves.
