Good point. And it brings up something I have often wondered about.

Are the shorts inside on the scam?
The ability to short against a CD or restricted stock seems to always be a part of any scam. Insiders filing 144`s would raise flags. Shares converted through a CD would raise flags as they showed up at the TA.

Short selling raises none of these flags. Makes it easy to move massive amounts of shares.
And the shorts seem to get the info that it is a scam before any of the longs.

GENI will be an interesting case study.
