The first week was rough for my 15 year old. He wanted to stay home from school but I made him attend. I thought it would be better for him to talk to his peers about the situation. Also, all the teachers were holding discussions during class so he got alot of analysis. I talk alot about politics at home so he and I discuss the situation frequently. My husband is a Republican so we are always getting into alot of political discussions. My son is used to it. We have lively debates !! My other sons are adults so they have a different perspective on the situation.
