I am a believer in the U.S. keeping out of other's affairs. We had no business being in the middle east, (aid to Israel from private U.S. citizens is their own business of course), no business bombing them (but if we were going to do it we should have killed Hussein) and no business enforcing embargos. We are bullies.
But now it's too late. The U.S. has gotten itself into an impossible situation. So unfortunately all non citizens of mid east origin should be rounded up and deported. Not treated meanly just deported. It is too dangerous at this point to figure out who is who. Will that stop future terrorism? I haven't a clue but it will stop some.
I suppose we need to bomb where we think Ben Laden is but "rooting out terrorism all over the world" is an undoable task.
Also the U.S. and U.N. should stop castigating Israel for retaliatory measure. What they do is their business and they have only stayed alive this long by strong retaliation.
This is a very dangerous very sad time in the U.S. however. I wonder how many of us will still be alive this time next year?
"Live each day as if it were your last" ...well it is not so easy to do that but at least enjoy each day as much as you can.
