Can you expand on these remarks

<<Looking at the forest for the trees, I see the Cisco-Alcatel alliance as a
clarion call for the entire broadband sector. These giants clearly are
positioning themselves for the high-speed bandwidth market. Because
they're cooperating at a level several layers above Amati, I don't see it
as a threat. The negotiations AMTX has with Cisco have not been
altered --- licensing never was in the cards --- nor have discussions
with Alcatel. I've been assured they'll work with both. >>

As I stated above, can you expand on these remarks. I keep looking
for a silver lining in today's Cisco-Alcatel announcement, but haven't
been able to find anything yet.

As you know, I own both Aware and Amati and even though the majority is in Aware, I would have been thrilled if Amati had won. But instead
the Alcatel announcement leaves me with a slightly sickish feeling.
