I think the administration is playing with - using - the media. We seem ready to fight this battle on every front with lots of disinformation thrown in. The idea of helping the anti-taliban afghanis is a great one - one which keeps the islamic world from being propagadized against us as we do our thing and which keeps the taliban tied up and unable to give all the aid to bin laden which they otherwise might give. I have seen reports that the taliban has a lot of problems holding things together and that they are so off their game that they are saying we are too cowardly to attack. It does my heart good to see such.
