Most of the public doesn't know what their mutual funds get up to or would understand what they were doing if they were told. Maybe they should have some items in the application which mention that stuff and the purchaser of units would sign off on it. My fund manager just says in the prospectus that they can use derivatives but not for speculative purposes or gain leverage and that is about it. The international fund explains roughly what currency options they buy.

But can you please explain this naked shorting? Or did you already post somewhere on that.
