Have you ever developed trading systems for the SP?

Dozens. You name it; Neural Nets, Pattern Recognition, Tradestation stuff. Because I daytrade when I trade SP it became a habit to decide what to look for before the Open and then trade it. If what I expected did not happen I did not trade. I've been less active over the past few months, but intend to get back into it some day.

Daytrading takes a lot out of you over time.

$15,000 trading one mini is the same as $75,000 trading one spoo....think about it. 5x$15=$75.

What you have to look out for with these systems is drawdowns. How large are they, what % of capital has to be tied up. I've really never used any system like that outside of ANNs (Neural Nets). So I cannot say what to expect. You just have to look at their history and decide what to do. Also, I guess that's $15K net of fees? Risk/reward becomes an issue if it isn't.

Have to run, catch you later
