Thanks for your reasoned response. I agree that the Nikon news is positive. (Remember the days when Sandisk used to put out releases about new agreements two or three times a month?)

As the megapixel capacity of the new cameras goes up, users will eventually have to buy higher capacity memory cards. We just don't know how many years this process will take.
