Fed Meeting : Just over an hour away from the FOMC decision at 14:15 ET; market has been locked in a tight range ahead of the announcement. Hearing some discussion of the risks of a 25 bp or 75 bp cut, though both seem very unlikely. In the current environment, the Fed will want to avoid surprising the market, which means delivering the 50 bp cut that everyone expects. An easing bias is also a certainty, though look for the announcement to mention the tremendous uncertainty regarding the outlook and the still positive long-term economic fundamentals.
