FOX News reports bin Laden is said to be holed up at 25,000 ft in the Pamirs. Do they realize how ridiculous this is? This is well into the famous mountain climbing "Death Zone" above 23,000 ft. where no matter what you do, all the tissues of your body slowly but steadily perish. Memo to DOD: Let's just blockade ObL and his gang in there... (This FOX report is clearly short on accuracy..anything above even 14,000 ft or so is very, very tough on the body. Extended stay at 18,000 is out of the question for most people due to dangerous altitude sickness issues.) --fl
