>> It only takes one enemy to create a WTC disaster <<

it's much easier to stop one enemy than ten.

>> All right, YOU try getting the environmentalists to back down on opening Alaska to oil drilling. Until then, what you propose is not an option <<

only in your mind. i don't understand why everyone thinks we have to have a military presence in the middle east to guarantee oil to flow. you act as if countries like saudi arabia don't need us as customers and would stop selling us oil. hogwash. they need money to exist and thrive (and defend) themselves. the only way for them to get money is to sell us oil.

>> Some protection. <<

ok, tell me. how do tariffs fail to provide protection?

>> So from this you've concluded that tax cuts cause economic slowdowns? <<

obviously you have a problem distinguishing the different effects on an economy from an income tax and a import tax, so i will just let it go.

>> See, you're not so terribly against imposing our country's will on others after all! <<

if you can't differentiate between the type of moral authority that we impose on the world and putting the united states first when negotiating trade and alliances, then i guess we should just drop it because you obviously have no effective argument.

have a nice day
