"This was an attack on Care for victims of earthquakes, floods, droughts and other natural disasters. Because these are the kinds of things as a free society with a lot of luxury we have devoted ourselves to do.. We are among the most compassionate people on the face of the earth. Because this was an attack on all we do. All the good we do in the world."

In actuality though it is the largest gross giver the US gives out the lowest percentage of GDP than any other developed country: .08%.
