GGamer,

I believe Moore has publicly and repeatedly acknowledged that he made some serious mistakes tantamount to getting caught up in the hype of the so-called Internet stocks. I think he should be given a lot of credit for that. As an example, has anyone seen the same sort of acknowledgements from Henry Blodget or Mary Meeker? Revisiting Moore's earlier comments without providing the context of his later comments that reflect the lessons he has learned skews things quite a bit.

If I was interested in investing in Internet stocks (I'm not), my questions to the three authors would be whether or not they made personal investments based on their Icarus method and whether or not they believe it is still a valid method, and why.
