Yes, that's the current consensus, that's what lots of articles are saying: no one will ever make any profits in PCs, ever again. It's a commodity, margins are trending toward zero, the market is saturated, there is no reason to upgrade, spending by consumers and businesses will be delayed into the indefinite future. And the same thing for cellphones and servers and storage and...........

It's all FUD, with just enough truth to be plausible.
