ok let's say for the sake of argument that isreal falls on the side of "right" and muslims fall on the side of "wrong". what is america's vital interest in taking sides? there is all sorts of right and wrong in this world and oftentimes the united states does not interfere. why must we intervene in the case of israel when we choose not to intervene in other cases?
