Wanna: Don't you think the timing in this case makes things a little different, especially since the name of the OS and the name of the processor are likely to both appear side by side on the system spec tag at your local retailer?

The same could be said of the Trident BladeXP (announced May 28th, 2001) and the Game Theater XP™ (announced 11 months ago).

I'm not saying that AMD didn't outright "steal" the name. I'm simply saying that it's such a common name in this industry (eclipsed only by "Pro" and "Plus") that the whole discussion is moot.
