heinz and all,

I had an interesting day. Played bridge with my cronies this afternoon and I asked the gals what they were doing as far as spending was concerned. They all said they were tightening there belts and are not going to do any spending unless it was necessary. They were emphatically saying that this was not temporary behavior. All of these gals are upper middle/upper income bracket retired folks. Man if the rest of the retired folks in this country are going to do the same as these folks this country is in trouble.

Now these folks understand that Washington never makes any decisions that are good for the citizenry.
