A touching story. Only got a 1/2 million at last years prices, and had to wait 11 whole days! Pobrecito! You'll know the real estate market has collapsed when interest rates back up (notice how the longer bonds don't rally as hard on the rate cuts anymore) and you decide not to put your house on the market at all because the selling price is 25% below your mortgage payoff.
