Tillinghast has had a remarkable record of weathering most storms. His Low Priced Stock Fund chart over the years proves his ability. His fund could continue to hold its own?

When one looks at a great utility builder such as CPN in an environment when all factors seem to favor its value and future success and then notes the price volatility of such a low cost gas fired power plant in this present market, it appears that cash is the only place to be.

Bond funds look like a safe place to hide reserves, but then one will have to be ready to move out when equities finally get out of their funk (if?) G.E. has never looked better as a bargain. I thought it was cheap in '87 at around 39, so had to buy two weeks ago at 31.30. Will it hold? BA at 30 looked terrific, but it headed down quickly after it started up. The news seems good again today hopefully.

These are trying times even with prosaic, and the tax selling season is ahead of us. Can we trust the fund managers not to sell off all their profitable investments - for capital gains even ahead of time?
