Brook: Speaking for myself, my only interest in MSFT has to do with its impact on the market as a whole. One must ask what is going on with MSFT as it seems strong for whatever reason. Here is an SI post for those who are interested as well in that issue:

Best Buy stores got XP last Thursday. Checked 3 stores since Sunday, just got back from the last one. Inventories of PC's almost gone. Display models pulled and sold, both for PC's and Notebooks. One store sold over 50 PC's Sunday afternoon, and could have sold more if they had them. They usually sell 8-12. Monitors selling too so it's not just upgrades. Numerous young and early middle aged couples looking/buying.
Oddly, it appears they are selling a lot of "network in a box" kits as well. They were out of stock on several brands.

This will probably show up in the channel checks by the better analysts in the next week.
