HOPE YOU WEREN'T FOOLED BY THIS "TRIBUTE" BENEFIT CONCERT

Did you call in and give money after seeing the John Lennon Tribute benefit concert broadcast last night on TNT? If so, you might have unwittingly given money to support groups who want to disarm you.

The Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms says the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence, the Million Mom March, and the Violence Policy Center are just three of the groups that will receive a portion of the money collected from last night's concert. The concert was initially set to air on September 20--but after the September 11 attacks, it was rescheduled for October 2. Those three anti-gun groups were the original beneficiaries of the concert. But groups like the American Red Cross, the International Association of Fire Fighters, and the Twin Towers Fund were added to the mix.

That's right--gun control groups are sharing the stage with relief organizations. They're taking advantage of Americans' open wallets to get a piece of the pie for themselves. They're riding the coattails of more deserving groups--and probably without your knowledge.

These groups are also using the attacks on America--where not a single gun was used!--to advance their own agenda of disarming the American people. In a time when more Americans are conscious of their right to self-defense, these anti-gun hysterics are still trying to take their guns away.
