Geez. I;m out of town for one day and the market tanks! Good to see that VLNC hung in there tough at 8.5. As much as I hated to admit it when this one was at 9.5 - 10., 8.5 looked like it would return for support! I won't bother anyone to reference my earlier post stating such, but trust me, I said it.
As others have posted, VLNC is winding up like a rubber band at this level (8.5 to 9.5). When it unwounds, it'll be fast and furious. Will it be up, or will it be down? The answer will be obvious 30 days from now! In every press release, 10K, SEC document that VLNC releases, they state the volume production is set to begin in the first half/middle of 1997. Well, June happens to be the exact middle of the road. I don't believe that management would expose themselves to further lawsuits if these dates aren't achieved. At the very least, they would make a statement concerning their mfg abilities.
I tend to side with FMK and Matthew. The big boys are accumulating and are (will be) laughing all the way to the bank when this one breaks $10 (laughing because they got so many suckers to sell on the cheap). I'm very pleased with Matt's info, if in fact it's true. Minor "glitches" happen all of the time. Good tech and management overcomes them. Line 1 is "up and running" and Line 2 is be prepared for shipment to NI. Big volume production looks to be right around the corner. So does the price. Hold in there gang. It's gut wrenching seeing your paper profits whither away during this recent downturn. But, it'll be happy days when it turns around and KICKS SOME BOOTY! |
