I have no doubt that your positions are based on facts and logic, and that you are an honorable man. In some cases there seems to be more than one legitimate opinion though. At these times it looks like you still defend your view as the only correct view, instead of acknowledging another way to view the issue MAY be legit also, and then offering the logic and reasoning you use to support your view.

As a practical matter, if descriptive terms like stupid and lazy are used to describe the other's views or thinking, you clearly communicate how you feel about how they drew their conclusions, but have probably offended the other guy enough to where your points will be lost on him or her.

That said, in many cases the adjectives are warranted. Also - I do the same things myself, but usually only when the poster has said something outlandish (like Tiger Paw saying that adults should be allowed to kill their children up until they are "self aware"), or when I or someone I like has unfairly been tarred.

In general, I like your posts and what you bring to the board. If my observations are incorrect, I trust you will let me know.
