OT - to Mike,
There is no rush. When you find a place, I'll be happy to drink with you.

Actually I have tremendous love and respect for the principles that America was founded on. That America has achieved greatness despite the breaches you mentioned, is the proof that those principles are so good. I think America would be even greater if the founding principles were adhered to more uniformly. It bothers me a lot that these principles are being ignored by those who've been hired to uphold them.

There is a tendency to think in black and white. The reality is far from it and in many cases we are to blame. Lack of acknowledgement of our shortcomings, be it to save face when shooting down an airliner or to face misguided policies, is a real hinderence to America's progress and finding an effective solution. There is enough people on the other side of the fence that someone should present a different perspective.

all the best,
Sun Tzu
