I am feeling particularly optimistic regarding not only INSP's ability to survive as an ongoing business but to prosper as well.
As of today, INSP's investment into it's own stock (21.7 million shares @ $1.05/share) has appreciated $11,935,000 in a very short time.

Re: Fellow Longs by: howsmydrivingal 10/03/01 01:12 pm Msg: 305398 of 305498 Laf,
What can I say. You have summed up just about everything most of us longs are thinking.
How can INSP disappoint again? Only thing I can think of is if they say data usage is not growing as fast in the wireless subs OR that wireless subs growth is not as robust as it could be. BUT I have seen NO evidence that either would be true. Cell phone accounts are climbing, PDA's are selling, and as announced Europe is going great for INSP products. The BIGGEST News for me in all of the wireless stuff is the fact that existing INSP customers are ADDING more and more INSP products! To me this means more $$ and RENEWAL of SERVICE CONTRACTS! These renewals will take INSP along for the EVOLUTION of higher bandwidth of the wireless spectrum!
The fact that this announcement comes out today and talks about the last three months talks DIRECTLY toward INSP bottom line numbers for THIS quarter.
Also, the Authorize.net accounts coming on line in the quarter will impact the bottom line IN Q4, if not also in Q3, to a smaller extent.
Guidance should be moved upward because of this. All this in the backdrop of recession in the greater economy, less vacations, less hotel bookings, less 'consumerism' due to 9/11 has and will continue to hurt many industries and specific companies for awhile.
I had to sell a short position in INTC a few weeks ago, I was trying to hold on until INTC was in the low 20 range, but I couldn't. Anyway INTC is where it should be based on fundamentals as is many stocks. Still other stocks are below where they should be.
INSP should be right where it is at presently (IMO) based on everything they have shown so far. I feel that is about to change, and with it, so should the stock price.
With the lawsuits INSP is facing, I do not believe that INSP's attorneys would think it wise to make all the announcements that they have been making only to 'kick investors in the teeth' with more severe negative guidance or performance.
Today's announcement served as an intra-quarter reaffirmation of guidance (if not even stronger than that).
Watch closely on earnings day, read the numbers that are released (pay attention to the LOSSES they post and ALL METRICS) before the cc. Act accordingly.
Good luck.

I agree with your thought here.
Likewise I believe INSP is outsourcing customer service through the likes of OMNISKY and Altura (see link)as well as many other companies.
biz.yahoo.com
INSP game plan to be the "Company Behind the Company" conflicts if they are the direct marketer of products. Also, it lowers overhead to not have to hire the manpower to run the programs. i.e. customer service 24/7 and waves of sales agents.
This means greater profit margins, and greater profits for the clients (makes for happy loyal clients). What INSP gives up in revenues to these clients will be paid back in spades because of VOLUME and MARKETSHARE.
