Brian, you raise a very good point. However, people that do dole out the hard cash for real ones feel a bit pissed off when they see someone wearing, or selling the fakes. The average joe doesn't know the difference. Then again, it could be contributing to their(OO's)popularity with all the people wearing what appear to be Oakley's! I think that is probably a joke, but I'm not sure. I am laughing at myself anyway! I was impressed with Oakley stock today! It had a few big block buy orders; 24,000 at 12 1/4 and 64,000 @ 12 3/8. It didn't have much volume, but considering today's widespread selloff in the market as a whole, and the DOW down almost 200 points, Oakley held up nicely. It traded in a very narrow range with a low of 12 1/8 and high of 12 3/8 and a close in the middle at 12 1/4. With a day of volume buying, this thing will steamroll to 13 and beyond in short order. I feel very confident with 12 as a new support level, and that sure beats 9 or 10. Regards, Jeff........... |
