Well, I'm going to give MUCP a shot for the rest of this week and next.

An interesting weekly chart seems to indicate being on the verge of a breakout to the upside (major volume of 460,000 shares from short-covering on Friday):

The hourly and daily charts are showing that we should find some support here to coincide with the lower arm of the weekly bollinger band indicator, providing a measure of support for the stock. Additionally, we're seeing a pinch in the Bollinger Bands on the weekly chart, which generally indicates some significant movement pricewise in weeks ahead.

But I wouldn't normally consider this to be sufficient criteria for investing in this stock... I'm relying primarily on the quality of the company's management team since they COMPLETELY restructured executive management earlier this year and reincorporated in Delaware..

Jean Belanger, is a former VP/Business Development with Motorola who's company, Metrowerks (CodeWarrior) was purchased by MOT in 1999 for $119 million. He was also, at one point, considered to be a director on APPL board of directors (before Jobs returned to the company).

Bruce Walter was CEO of Grid Systems, a maker of military computer systems, which was sold to Tandy for $250 million (as I recall)... is the current CEO...

And they have Natinal Semiconductor apparently on-board to support their promotional efforts at Comdex in November.

But you all can take a look for yourself and see if this set-top box seems to be a good deal for under $200/unit.

These guys haven't really been into a lot of self-promotion over the past 9 months, but it appears that some of that may be on the verge of changing....

Either way, management alone probably makes this a fairly safe bet that they will make something happen over the coming months.
