Thread, Very sorry to learn that hijackers have captured a plane in India. Here is a report on behavior reactions to hijacked planes from the WTC/Pentagon attacks. Airline travel is up 30% since the WTC/Pentagon attacks. AAA survey: People starting to travel again cnn.com "October 3, 2001 Posted: 7:04 AM EDT (1104 GMT)-- Sales of airline tickets for the week of the attack fell to 40 percent of 2000 levels, but increased by 30 percent in the two weeks that followed." 60% of 2000 level (during week of attack) 78% of 2000 level (currently) Some reports estimated we would be down 50% for a spell. Currently, airline sales are down by only 22%. I hope there is a safe recovery of all the people on-board today's hijacked plane. Regards, Amy J
