COGNICASE Awarded US$5.7 Million Contract With City of New York
MONTREAL, QUEBEC--OCTOBER 3, 2001 - 08:43 EDT COGNICASE Inc. (Nasdaq: "COGI"), a provider of advanced transaction processing solutions and Internet-based applications, today announced the awarding of a contract with the city of New York's Human Resources Administration Agency (HRA). The contract is valued at US$5.7 million.
Under the terms of the agreement, COGNICASE will design, deploy and manage all the UNIX data centre operations in collaboration with HRA's IT staff. This includes project management, enterprise architecture design, and data centre operations management. The contract will run from October 2001 to June 2002.
