Your arguments of the demise of the Democratic Party run counter to what's actually happening. Latest national poll of congressional races, just out this week, shows 46% intend to vote for Democratic candidates, 42% for GOP candidates. The fortunes of GWB and the Republican Party will be directly tied to the economy. It's unlikely the tens of thousands of people being thrown out of work weekly will support the Republican Party and its big-business agenda.
