From memory, last attempt on El AL, 1970, with the Leila Khaled follow up to ME knighthood.

I took an EL AL flight out of Israel ten years ago, and after all the ritual questions, in Hebrew, letting the socio/psycho agent see how clear my optic nerve were, I remembered that I had two dozen samples packed, the size of a cigarettes box. I told him I didn't know who packed them a few days before. But as I was the last in the lobby, he decided to let it pass. I objected claiming that I won't have a pleasant flight, and requested we opened all boxes.
We did, nothing happened, besides the plane late departure.
