Hi Gottfried! The Bottom? You asked me to let you know when we've seen the bottom. I think I've got it. Look at the enclosed chart. On Sept. 10 you'll see a small white candle and then a gap down with a red candle. stockcharts.com[h,a]daclynmy[d20010601,20011003][pb20!b10!f][iut!Ua12,26,9] If the NASDAQ fills that gap, we've seen the bottom. It's also a point where the rally could end and we retest the lows. Fill the gap = bottom. Otherwise more drudgery ahead. dabum Edit - PS - I'm of the opinion we don't fill that gap. I'm also of the opinion this is another bear rally. Nothing substantial has changed in the economy. People are filled with hope and fear. Hope that the bottom is in, fear of missing it. I'm waiting for the trends to establish to the upside before closing my shorts, although I'm establishing some longer term bullish positions.
