So are saying that you feel a 386SX 16Mhz and say a 386DX 16 Mhz has no deception to the consumer by not stating that they are vastly different in performance at those days standards?

I don't think it was a deception back then, nor is it a deception of AMD to start using model numbers. Anybody who is interested can find out the details behind DX vs. SX of 386, and anybody interested can find out the details of the Athlon XP ModelHertz (after October 9th)
