I try to eyeball the rate of change, but I look for
divergence more , take the May22 high well the
vix had fallen , but the divergence after that
was a real tip off..we had a mini rally July
1 but it was no where near as high as May 22
yet the VIX was a lot lower.

In other words if the Market Highs are Lower
and the Vix also Lower you got to know there isn't
enough fear.
If we get the VIX hanging out back down below
24 before we get back to the (May22
highs) my alarms will start to go off.
