Why..CPQ...
well its like this... I believe that the HWP/CPQ sell off is over. HWP at 16 makes CPQ worth 9.92 (16 x .62)...any modest change in the price of HWP moves CPQ automatically. Today the HWP CEO said that the merger is on schedule or ahead of schedule. If the merger falls apart then CPQ will hopefully return to its pre merger price of 12. The past three weeks we saw a continued sell off in the Nasdaq and in HWP. The talking heads on TV were saying that the street does not like the merger. But heck the street didn't like anything for those three weeks. So...even a dead cat bounce on HWP will give a good bounce to CPQ.

I know this is not very scientific and I haven't crunched very many numbers, and the outlook is murky, and Dell (which I also own, is the place to be), and there ain't no good reason to buy CPQ now and all that stuff. This is a short term play.

But Brian I'm a trader and I have to make a buck somewhere.

Regards, Jerome (does this make any sense?)
