The following is taken from todays Telepanel press release.

This press release includes forward looking statements as defined in the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995. Forward-looking statements do not constitute historical facts and involve risks and uncertainties, including, but not limited to, the possibility that adverse economic or other factors may cause actual results to be materially different than current estimates and projections. Additional detailed information concerning a number of factors that could cause actual results to differ materially from the information contained in this press release is contained in the reports and other documents of Telepanel filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission from time to time.

The question I have is what has Telepanel ever filed with the SEC?

Based on today's free edgar listing for Telepanel, the answer is a big nothing. The "fact" is the only documents filed under the companies name were filed by ERSI and related to their aborted merger. Gee, I sure hope it doesn't mean that TLS can say "whatever" in their PR as long as they include such a statement and file nothing with the SEC. That doesn't seem right!

I'd expect that the company does not intend this spin. But given that they have also produced next to nothing in the area of significant orders and continue to promote, as some sort of given, that they are on the verge of cracking a huge market, maybe it's time to start challenging their PR.

I only wonder how things will change once the conversion rate on that pile of debt is locked in at their proposed 35 cents to the loonie. One needs to dig deep to get a handle on that matter. What do other folks think about the conversion? We all get to vote!
