KDAVY..On Topic Option strategy for this month

We have 12 trading days till options expire.
The twelfth day is expiration day so you
might as well throw that one out.
Expiration day has no logic to it,
so don't try to second guess it.

I did read up on the matter, and someone said
that no matter how stocks end up on the
Friday of expiration the following Monday
stocks will open down . That you can take
to the bank.

Following are todays closing prices and
the strike I would use for a covered call
or a sell price if this rally continues
into tomorrow.
...... Close....Strike
AMAT...30.34....35
LRCX...17.59....17.50
klac...32.24....35
nvls...28.......35
csco...13.95....12.50
sunw....9.00....10.00
orcl...13.66....12.50
lltc...34.......35.00
mxim...38.......40.00
xlnx...26.72....30.00

Some where in the middle of next week reality sets in.
The economy is still in a rat hole.
Panic over how bad the earnings will be.
Panic over the deterioration of the outlook

At this point covered calls make good sense
because I think we see a rally followed by
a retracement.

This is my plan...a good rally tomorrow
makes this all work out for the better.

Regards, Jerome
