Only few facts:
no military intervention while the UK prime minister and the US defense secretary are travelling in the region.
Afghan opposition warns for the dangers to get stuck in the Winter, starting mid-Nov exactly at the start of Ramadan this year.
Leaves a very small window for ground intervention.

Have been sitting on my hands for so long, I even could wait till mid-Nov for this uncertainty to be over. <ng>
