The Arab forces killed two Israeli occupation soldiers and wounded at least 15 others in a daring attack, the first of its kind, on an Israeli settlement in Gaza. Some of the wounded later included IDF soldiers who were called to the scene. The IDF forces killed 2 or 3 of the Palestinian resistance fighters who had infiltrated into the illegal Jewish settlement located on Palestinian land. It is reported that the Gaza is under full naval closure because Israel fears further attacks. After the Palestinians infiltrated the settlement, a fierce gun battle took place in Gaza between Palestinian civilians and the Israeli army. Gaza was under total siege for several hours as a result of the infiltration of the Al-Aqsa unit.
