Yogi,
I've been watching that guy since he first came on CNBC, he's always knocked the US market, but I guess that's his gig. His interview with Maria B was a travesty, imo.
For GE/NBC it's about market share of audience. The goofy Suze O appeals to many viewers, she keeps it simple and addresses a large group of people with money to invest, older baby boomers, etc. She drives me crazy, but she adds viewers.
As for Rogers, I've received many PM's from people who agreed that his comments sounded very biased. They are as sick of him as I am. How many viewers are going to run to the TV to hear some clown advise them to open an account in some third world country so as to avoid those dirty ADR's? Think GE will attract viewers with reco's for lead and tin? As a GE shareholder and a trader, I find Rogers to not only promote an anti American attitude, but his babble is a clear waste of time. Give me Bill Seidman or Bill Wolman anytime.
