I spoke with Dave Archibald, Valence CFO, late yesterday. He indicated that lines 1-3 should all be production qualified and operating normal production schedules in the time frame we have been expecting for the last 60 days. My understanding is the end of June for line 1, Sept-Oct for line 2 and Dec-Jan for line 3. It may be sooner for line 3 because it will be identical to Line 2 and likelyhood of having large OEM commitments. Regarding R&D, I was told that the company has projects outside the realm of Bellcore technology, with higher specific energy. Regards, FMK
