PCCW no need to raise fund, no loss fr US attacks 2001/09/24 14:22 (Infocast News) PCCW (0008) Chairman Richard Li said that the company has no need to seek financing in the short run nor has it recorded loss because of the US attacks. He pointed out that the company has sufficient fund for the time being and has no urgent need to raise fund in the coming three to five years. Despite low interest rates, he stated that borrowings should be matched against the development plans of the company. He reiterated that it has not suffered from the US attacks and no staff have been hurt or sent to death. It needs to increase the number of hotlines for corporate and individual clients to contact their relatives and friends in the US.
