**OT** Air Drops *** Radios and other things, Part 2
Now that we know that the Military and the State Department are monitoring this thread we might as well give them a few more good ideas.
What our government needs to so is to start an exchange program...Food for Guns..Because there has been a very severe three year drought in that region of the world and many have died and are in danger of dying from starvation we should set up food relief areas either on the Pakistani border or inside of Afghanistan and offer these people this exchange,
Surrender one weapon and get three bushels of grain right now plus a certificate that will allow you to redeem for one bushel of seed grain when you need it next spring for planting. We might even toss in a five pound bag of apples. That's right apples, which originated in that part of the world about 3000 years ago,(Turzbeckistan) and are considered a real treat. The grains we should offer them are rice, wheat, beans and peanuts. (peanuts are not a grain but grown in most third world countries)
Every weapon that is turned in is a weapon that will not be pointed at our soldiers. These weapons were purchased for about $100.00 apiece from Russia, and other third world sources. We are going to redeem them for about $10.00 a piece.
Then we can take these $10.00 rifles bring them back to the USA and advertise them in all the NRA magazines,(for $50.00 a piece) to those folks that want to prove that the second amendment is alive and well. A gun lover never has enough guns.
The food stuffs come out of our agricultural surpluses, and will result in higher grain prices for the wheat, rice, bean and peanut farmers.
If this plan is implemented the terrorist will be out of business, because poverty, hunger, and despair are the tools of international terrorism.
