"It is essential to mobilize with great urgency when an enemy strikes suddenly and catastrophically," Sam Nunn, the former Democratic senator from Georgia, said this week. "Decisions and actions that would normally occur over 5 to 10 years occur in only a few months. But this accelerated fight against terrorism must be integrated into a broader national security strategy. We must understand what changed on Sept. 11, and what did not change."
IMO it is also "essential" that we continue to replay over, and over, and over again the footage recorded on Sept. 11, on worldwide television. It is essential that every human within site of a TV set witness over and over again the attack. We must be regularly reminded of what happened that day so that the memory doesn't become too blurred. We are all familiar with the old adage "Out of sight out of mind." We must not put these tapes on a back shelf. They must be played. They must be played to the world, and replayed every anniversary forever.
Civilization must be reminded of who did this and what their motives were. Civilization must be reminded that if they let their guard down, Sept 11 will happen again. We all need to be reminded of what terror is.
I want to see a list. I want to see a list of names and I want faces to go with the names. I want those names and faces plastered on television screens world wide. All the names and faces of the victims of the man that has a direct link to God.
Where is the list of names? Why hasn't it been made available? Are they still compiling the list?
As soon as the list is available it needs to be posted to an email and sent around the world. The list needs to include the names, ages, birth place, and birth date, as well as the nationalities of all of the victims. That includes the firefighter, police, EMT, security guard, airline pilot, steward, child, mother, father, uncle, aunt, sister, brother, cousin, Godparent, mentor, teacher, broker, friend, relative, neighbor, acquaintance, co-worker, lawyer, janitor, window washer, cook, barber, tailor, Doctor, Irish, English, Italian, Dane, Frenchman, German, Chinese, Indian, Samoan, Iranian, Polish, Russian, Norwegian, Finn, Australian, Indonesian, Japanese, Dutch, Scot, Man, Woman, Type A, Type O, blond, brown eyed, dark complected, short, tall, skinny, fat, disabled, buff, old, young, firm, curly haired, redhead, freckle faced, infirm, weak, strong, Protestant, Islamic, Catholic, Atheist, HUMAN. Their birthmarks need to be included. The profession of each and every victim needs to be included.
We need information about who died.
I need faces to go along with the names. Then we have to make sure that the world knows who died and we have to make sure that they don't forget why all of these humans died.
